MacroEYE Camera Monitoring System

Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. is introducing a camera monitoring system, named MacroEYE, to allow its customers to view their film production lines from virtually anywhere in the world.

MacroEYE provides full motion, real-time video of normally unattended or hidden portions of the line through strategic placement of up to 8 stationary cameras.  This recently developed monitoring system provides immediate benefits to operators, supervisors and managers of film production lines.  Line startup and production will be simplified, as operators will have the ability to see all the critical areas of the line in real-time video from Macro's SUPERCOM control panel.  Supervisors and managers benefit by monitoring line activity from on-site offices via local network connections, or remotely via Internet connections.  When required, a portable float camera can be used to capture video of a specific problem on the line.  This video can be viewed by Macro engineers via an Internet connection for remote troubleshooting.

The SUPERCOM station, as well as other client stations, is capable of recording and playing back video.  The recording feature can be programmed to follow a specific schedule, to record based on motion detection, or on a simple continuous basis.  The internal storage of MacroEYE is capable of storing one week of footage from eight cameras recording for eight continuous hours per day.  For lines that utilize fewer cameras, the storage time is even greater.  This recorded footage may be used to create process video clips for quality and production analyses, research and development, and line maintenance purposes.
