Macro Air Rings - Key Features & Benefits
-
Ongoing R&D in concert with customer and raw material suppliers to optimize rates, bubble stability and film properties of various resins, including Metallocenes.
-
Macro Air Rings provide some of the highest output rates in the industry. They are available for a broad range of materials, including LLDPE, LDPE, and various coex structures. They operate very effectively through a wide range of Blow-Up Ratios.
-
Superior workmanship using only high-quality, aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminum for the air ring lip sets.
-
Lip sets are precision machined from solid bar stock and not from castings. The result is a consistent and predictable level of quality that eliminates the possibility of casting flaws in critical air flow passages.
-
Among the many innovative features, Macro Air Rings incorporate Nylon inserts on mating threaded surfaces, preventing wear on critical aluminum lip components. These inserts require simple adjustment every 6-12 months, to ensure that the air ring lip set maintains concentricity with the die lips.
-
All Macro Engineering Air Rings are easily adjusted (both lips) so that the bubble will lock in quickly. The operator can change the BUR while still running, eliminating the need to knock down concentricity with the die lips.
-
Mounted directly on every air ring’s outer body is an easy-to-follow set up & operating instruction plate. A more detailed instruction manual is also included.
